Frequently Asked Questions

Minimum Order

Minimum order is $300 unless ordering pre-defined bundles as specified on our website. Orders can be placed via email, phone and/or text. Please be sure to include detailed contact and delivery information.
 

Prices

Prices are effective as of 9/1/2023, and are subject to change without notice. All prices are FOB our Vista or Texas warehouses. Order quotations will be honored for 30 days from date of original quotation. Special orders require a non-refundable deposit and may not be canceled.


Payment

Payments accepted via cash, check or credit/debit card. Credit/debit cards will be charged on day of shipment. Terms are available to established customers at our discretion. Net 30 would be the standard term. Past due balances will be subject to a 2% service charge on any balance more than 30 days old.


Shipping

Free delivery within southern California on any order over $1,000 or when combined with plant orders from Jungle Jack’s. Otherwise, delivery charges within Southern California subject to the following schedule:


- San Diego County - $75
- Orange County - $95
- Los Angeles/Riverside Counties - $125


Deliveries typically available on a weekly basis, subject to change based on prevailing order volumes. Outside of Southern California delivery/shipping charges will be quoted on a per-order basis. We use FedEx for smaller orders, larger orders may be shipped via LTL carriers or via customer-preferred method.


Returns and Exchanges

All returns subject to a 25% restocking fee, exchanges 15%. Return requests accepted with 14 days of receipt of original shipment, exchanges allowed up til 30 days from receipt of original shipment. No returns accepted after 14 days, no exchanges allowed after 30 days.


Breakage/Claims

All shipments must be inspected on arrival. Damages must be noted on bill of lading or on Fedex or common carrier documents. Photos of damaged items also required. These can be submitted to us by notifying us about the damaged product at elephanthausUSA@gmail.com and attaching applicable photos. Once the shipment has been turned over to Fedex or common carrier they assume responsibility for delivery of an intact shipment, and as such claims should be directed to whichever carrier performed the delivery. All damage claims must be made within 24 hours upon receipt of the shipment. Damage claims submitted anytime after 24 hrs of delivery will not be accepted.


Product

Every item we sell is individually crafted and finished. As a result, there may be slight variations and inconsistencies between items. None of this detracts from the overall quality of the containers, and only reinforces the artisan quality of our product.
